Don Filiberto

Filibeto is a very talented silversmith. He started the trade when he was a little boy, helping his father with some of the easier tasks in the workshop. He always knew that he wanted to be a silversmith, and worked extremely hard to kit out a room in this house with a table and the basic equipment for a silversmith.

Fairtrade allows Filiberto to produce much greater quantities of jewellery, by paying him 50% of every order up-front. This enables him to buy the silver and means that he is not limited by the amount of raw materials that he can afford to buy himself.
